I have experience working with children at Kelly Club, a before / afterschool and holiday care programme for primary school children. As apart of my role at Kelly Club I ran cooking, craft, sports and general playing activities. I quickly learned about what did and didn’t work with all of the individual children. For example with disputes, some children responded positively to affection and calming words whereas other just needed to be redirected to a new activity. I believe I would be a good fit for this opportunity for many reasons. I enjoy looking after children as they are fun to be with, engaging, and each day is a new experience. I am an energetic, reliable, and loving person who works well with children as I am able to be both fun and firm. I can easily cope and diffuse any conflict or behavioural issues as I come from a large family that used to foster young children.

Hi thanks for visiting my page,I am Lorraine and I have been nannying to children ranging in age from new born through till them starting school for the past 7 years, also baby sitting for the families of an evening.I start early mornings through till evening preparing evening meals,light duties while the children are having a nap i.e. washing ironing etc, also taking the children to attend activities such as play school,swimming,music etc.Although i am not a qualified nanny through an agency i have under gone play centre diploma's, first aid course, and have no problem having a police check done.I am currently available Fridays and weekends, and from August I will be available Mondays,Thursdays,Fridays and weekends. I can supply a list of referees should you require it, and a police check for peace of mind.
I was born in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, in 1992. I spent my first eight years there, before my parents decided to pursue a new life in a new country, and we moved to New Zealand in the year 2000. My English skills were limited when I arrived in my new home, but like any child, I learned very fast, and I now consider myself to be a Kiwi, and as much a Kiwi as any other person actually born here.
