My journey into education started in 2007 when I first began working at an ECE centre. Since then I have gained a Bachelor of Education from the University of Auckland and become a fully registered teacher. In 2016 I travelled to Italy to learn more about the Reggio Emilia approach which strongly inspires my work with children. My philosophy is also guided by Magda Gerber’s respectful approach and in 2015 I took part in the RIE foundations course to deepen my knowledge on respectful practice. These experiences have led me to believe that educating children in the home is best as it provides children with the peaceful and authentic environment that they need to grow and learn. The relationship I build with each child is the most important part of my work as within a trusting and supportive relationship, children can participate in quality learning experiences and truly thrive. My hope is that my home will be a special place to learn; where children feel loved, nurtured and respected.

I am currently living in Auckland city centre. I currently don’t have any plans to leave Auckland so I am also available for any long term positions. Hello beautiful families! My names zivana, I’m currently working hospo but im looking for another job on the side or a lovely family to get me back to babysitting full time. I absolutely love looking after young ones and getting to help them out with school work or just interacting with them and getting to understand life from their little minds. Babysitting was the first job I took on and absolutely loved it from the start. I’m a very big family person, super loving and very patient. I’ve looked after kids from the age of 12 months old to 12 years old and a young girl with cerebral palsy so making sure everyone’s needs are met is not a problem at all. I’ll always be willing to help out where I can and go that extra mile for the kids and your family and any little fur baby that you may happen to have! :) Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!

I am a mother to one 19month old very busy boy. I am just finishing up caring for another boy of the same age so would love to find a new playmate for my son. I am happy for care to take place either in my home In Takapuna or yours, as long as my son is welcome in your home also. I have a great fully fenced yard for home days and we love to get out and about in the community to rhymetime at the library, the beach, playgrounds and playgroups.
