I am a mum to 4 awesome children between the ages of 3 and 15 years. My firm belief in nurturing young children led me to quit the corporate world 5 years ago so I could be there for my kids and I've never looked back! I feel it is important to stimulate children’s minds in a safe, fun filled environment and there is so much joy in watching them learn and grow. I currenty have 1 space available due to one of my lovely families relocating. For more information please contact me for an info pack. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi! My name is Fiona and I am a 30 year old qualified Early Childhood Teacher. I work full time teaching, and am looking for babysitting work outside of regular working hours to help me save for travel.
I am 25 years old and from the UK. I have come to New Zealand on a 12 month working tourist visa and arrived in December 2018. I am currently staying with my older sister and her children, 7 year old daughter and 10 year old son. Her son has high functioning autism. Part of my reason for travelling to NZ is to spend time with my family. I have a degree in Social Work and was employed as a Social Worker in England for 4 1/2 years working with children and families in a support capacity and within the remit of adoption and fostering. I am looking to work while I am in New Zealand. I love working with children and would like to be able to continue working with children. I am able to do this at short notice and am very flexible with my availability.
I am 21 years old, just graduated from The University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology and Education. I am a bubbly, friendly and responsible person. I have heaps of childcare experience with children aged 1 up until to 14 from babysitting, nannying and working for an after school/ holiday program for over a year. I am looking for 25+ hours in childcare related work as I love working with children, and want to build on my knowledge and experience with children before going into the teaching field. I am an animal lover, and happy to help out with animals, household management and cleaning.
I have experience working with children at Kelly Club, a before / afterschool and holiday care programme for primary school children. As apart of my role at Kelly Club I ran cooking, craft, sports and general playing activities. I quickly learned about what did and didn’t work with all of the individual children. For example with disputes, some children responded positively to affection and calming words whereas other just needed to be redirected to a new activity. I believe I would be a good fit for this opportunity for many reasons. I enjoy looking after children as they are fun to be with, engaging, and each day is a new experience. I am an energetic, reliable, and loving person who works well with children as I am able to be both fun and firm. I can easily cope and diffuse any conflict or behavioural issues as I come from a large family that used to foster young children.
I am a Kea Leader with my local scout group. I love to dance, write anything and take photos of random things. I like to explore and have fun. I enjoy being in the sun, at the beach or being surrounded by trees
I love kids and enjoy having fun with them with creative work and outings. I have worked as a private nanny, worked in a kindergarten, babysitted around Auckland and in the Waikato. I raised my kids with special needs and taken care of children with health issues. I have also trained as a youth mentor and worked with youth. I am in my mid 50's am reliable, responsible, versatile and easy going. I enjoy cooking also with kids and teaching them in the kitchen and home and love reading to them stories or helping them with reading and education. I am registered with a few nanny agencies and babysitting agencies. Happy to travel a bit further if longer hours.

Hi there! My name is Mia and I’ve been working with children for over 10 years. I have a background in child psychology, where we studied how little ones develop, understand the world and how they learn. I think kids are our greatest teachers and believe in a firm but kind approach to caring for them. I am compassion, energetic and enjoy anything in the outdoors. I hope to meet you and your family soon!
I am 23 years old, living in St Heliers. My experience in caring for children began when I was in College babysitting during the evenings and holidays for local families. I have been nannying on a regular basis for over two years. I realize just how busy parents lives can be and how important it is to have a nanny who fits in well with their children and ensures that everything runs smoothly on the home front. I am a friendly, compassionate, hard working individual that enjoys working with children.
