I grew up with a golden retriever named Lightning who was my best friend. I would brush him, feed him, play with him and take him for walks. I have not gotten a pet as an adult due to the amount I travel, which makes petsitting perfect. I still get to spend quality time with animals, but not make the commitment of owning one. I am most comfortable caring for cats and dogs, but would be open to learning about caring for other types of animals as well. I had Lighting for 9 years, but since then have only pet sat for friends off and on over long weekends, which is why I put down 1 year of experience.
