Hello!! I am originally from Chicago, and will be in this beautiful country (specifically Wellington) until January 2017. I graduated from The University of Kansas in December, and decided to move over to NZ for the year. I have been babysitting for 9 years now. I love to work with kids and ages don't bother me. I have babysat for newborns to teenagers. I have also been a summer camp counselor in Colorado for 3 summers, and an after school program leader for kindergartners. Name the type of kid and I have dealt with them. I am easygoing, but at the same time, I have no problem disciplining kids with the parents permission, of course. I am really good with kids. I play a lot of sports, so I like to keep the kids active and outside having fun, but I am always up for whatever they want. I am very responsible, easy going (like I said before), have a good sense of humor, and extremely trustworthy.

I am a 19 year old student who studies commerce and tourism management looking for work in Karori, Wellington. I enjoy working with children and learning with them. I love baking and cooking as well as involving the children. I play social sports (netball, hockey, softball) and believe in fun participation for children. I speak basic French and have French friends if you are interested in your children having global interaction. I enjoy listening to music and I also play basic ukulele which I could teach the basics to children. I love reading and have been known to encourage reading by reading the same book as the child and engaging in exciting discussions and relevant activities. I do not have my full license but am confident with the Wellington Bus System. I do not currently hold a First Aid certificate but have in the past and have taken a child Safety and First Aid course through my hometown Parent Centre and St Johns.
