Hello my name is Cara and I am 18 years old(about to turn 19), and am back in Auckland temporarily after a year of working as a youth worker in a Catholic school in Timaru. I am very involved in my communities, including being deputy head girl of my Marist College in 2016. I love spending time with kids and have spent a lot of my holidays in the past five years taking care of children of my friends, family, church, and neighbourhood. Hello!! I am originally from Chicago, and will be in this beautiful country (specifically Wellington) until January 2017. I graduated from The University of Kansas in December, and decided to move over to NZ for the year. I have been babysitting for 9 years now. I love to work with kids and ages don't bother me. I have babysat for newborns to teenagers. I have also been a summer camp counselor in Colorado for 3 summers, and an after school program leader for kindergartners. Name the type of kid and I have dealt with them. I am easygoing, but at the same time, I have no problem disciplining kids with the parents permission, of course. I am really good with kids. I play a lot of sports, so I like to keep the kids active and outside having fun, but I am always up for whatever they want.
