Hello. I am a mother of a beautiful 21 year old who lives independently in Auckland . I am a practicing registered nurse & have been employed as a manager in aged care for the past 12 years . I recently left my job to nanny for family in Australia. I loved this position & am excited to find the right family to work with long term .
I am 43, mother to a 20 year old. I am married. I have worked with children all my adult life. I have worked with children with special needs in a school and home environment, nannyed privately and worked in child care centres. I have my first aid certificate, full drivers licence. I am an outgoing person, I am respectful of how family dynamics work and adhere to how you would like your children to be treated.
My strongest skill is the relationships I build with the children I work with. I am proud of my ability to be aware of the important events occurring in their lives and in turn the support I am able to provide the children. In the UK I developed strong bonds I will treasure with my children. I thrive on providing the best support possible for both the children and their families, researching further if needed to increase my knowledge and provide support. I love the outdoors and messy play with my artistic and adventurous nature. I regularly devise creative methods to teach, adapting these to maintain interest and have been praised for my ability devise activities under pressure which meet the children's personal needs. This creativity has also enabled me to develop innovative and unusual methods to aid in children's learning, ensuring I tailor my activities to not only their needs but also their interests, abilities and passions.
Hi, I am a 39 year old mother of 5 awesome kids (ages 16,12,10,6,1) and my husband is a Police Officer. I would love to look after your child either part or full time while I enjoy my time at home with my 1 year old. My home is family friendly, smokefree and safe. Although I don't have any recent childcare qualifications, I did get my National Nanny Certificate many years ago and I believe the best qualifications you can get in childcare is life experience which I have definitely had a lot of! I like to have fun with kids and offer lots of life experiences for them as well, including outings to the park, zoo, café for fluffies, walkway and also educational experiences at home such as puzzles, books, colouring, outdoor play, baking, drawing/writing and animals.( we have a cat, small dog and bunny). If you are looking for somewhere with a homely loving environment for your wee one/s please don't hesitate to call me to discuss. I am flexible with days and hours which is hard to find in a daycare facility, and I charge $5.50 per hour or $7 including lunch. Look forward to hearing from you:)) I don't have any childcare references but I do have references for my previous jobs as a medical receptionist for 2 separate medical centres in Taranaki.
I am 16 years old currently finishing level 2 through correspondence. My dream job is to become a kindy teacher or nanny. I love working and looking after children and have a good bond with most children. I was unable to upload a picture but would be able to send some if it is a problem.
I am a bubbly energetic Student teacher in my final year. As well as studying I also work one morning a week as a swimming instructor which has given me the skills to understand that all children are different and they all respond in different ways. During the summer months I work for surf lifesaving New Zealand in a program called beach education. This involves schools coming to the beach for a day and learning about the dangers of rips and currents at the beach but also for a day full of fun. In my weekends i volunteer as a beach lifeguard and patrol my local beach each weekend. As well as patrol on Sunday mornings i take the time to coach 10-12 year old children the different skills that surf lifesaving involves. As a surf lifesaver I hold all relevant first aid certificates which are all current and up to date currently.
